Mark your calendar. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, we’re hosting our next See the Difference Event at The Eye Bar, featuring Tom Ford. For one day, the entire Tom Ford Eyewear collection will be here in our Murfreesboro shop for you to browse, try on, and get fitted by a licensed optician.
What is a See the Difference Event?
It’s our version of a trunk show, and honestly, it’s some of the most fun we have all year. Twice a year, we partner with one of the brands we carry and bring in a much bigger slice of their collection for a single day. Tom Ford makes far more styles, shapes, colors, and sizes than any shop can keep on the wall at once. On event day, you get to see, try on, and purchase from the full collection.
No rush, no pressure. Just a room full of beautiful eyewear and someone who knows how to fit it.
When and where is the October event?
Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 12 pm to 4 pm, at The Eye Bar, 711 N. Thompson Lane, Suite F, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Questions? Call us at (615) 410-7447, and we’ll be glad to help.
Why Tom Ford?
Every brand at The Eye Bar earns its place the same way: Jeremey has fitted it, adjusted it, and watched how it holds up on customers through years of daily wear. Tom Ford passes that test. The frames take a prescription beautifully, hold their adjustment, and are built to last.
The range matters, too. Tom Ford cuts its frames in sizes and proportions that genuinely fit more faces than most luxury lines manage, so finding your pair is a matter of trying things on, not settling.
And it’s one of the brands you ask us about most. When that many people keep bringing up the same name, the best answer we can give is to bring in the entire collection for a day so you can see it for yourself.
What makes Tom Ford eyewear different?
Tom Ford spent the nineties reshaping Gucci before launching his own label in 2005, and eyewear was one of the first things he put his name on. The frames weren’t an afterthought licensed out to fill a shelf. They were part of the original vision, and it shows in how well they’ve held up.
The design itself starts with restraint. There’s no logo splashed across the front. Instead, a small metal T is built into the temple hinge, and that little T is how you spot a pair from across the room. Luxury without the shouting.
Then there are the materials. Tom Ford frames are handcrafted in Italy from premium acetate and lightweight metals. You notice it in the first ten seconds of wearing a pair: the weight, the polish, the way a good acetate frame holds its adjustment.
And the shapes. Tom Ford borrows from vintage silhouettes, squared frames, aviators, bold rectangles, and cat eyes, then updates the proportions. The result is a timeless classic design without feeling dated.
Can you try on frames in Murfreesboro that you won’t find at a chain store?
Yes. That’s exactly what we’re here for.
Chain stores build their selection nationally, so the frames on their walls are the same as the ones on the walls in a hundred other towns, picked for volume rather than for the people walking through the door. We do it differently. Jeremey personally chooses every brand The Eye Bar carries, which is how Tom Ford ends up sitting alongside Danish titanium, Parisian acetate, and tough frames built for kids.
A See the Difference Event takes that a step further. For one day, this will likely be the widest selection of a single luxury eyewear brand you can see in person anywhere in Middle Tennessee.
Why does it matter who fits your frames?
Because a luxury frame that doesn’t fit correctly is just an expensive frame.
Fit is where purchasing from a licensed optician makes sense. Fit covers where the optical center of your lens sits relative to your pupil, how the frame rests on your bridge, how the temples sit behind your ears, and whether the whole thing holds its shape through months of daily wear.
Jeremey Morris has been doing this work for nearly 30 years. He’s a licensed optician, and the trade runs in the family; his grandfather opened Southern Optical in Nashville back in 1969. When you buy a frame at The Eye Bar, the person helping you choose it is the same person fitting it to your face. You won’t find that at a chain.
What if you’ve never worn a statement frame?
You’re not alone, and a trunk show is the perfect place to try it.
Most people underestimate what they can wear. A frame that looks bold on the board can look completely natural on your face, and there’s no way to predict which is which without putting it on. So try it on. Jeremey has fitted thousands of pairs, and he’ll tell you honestly what he sees.
How do I register?
The event is free to attend, and registration is not required, but registering during a specific time helps us staff the event, and everyone who registers will receive a free gift.
